Then while driving in the car the other day I finally figured out what was going on. Chad was talking up a storm on one of his usual tangents of natural disasters. As soon as he mentioned the word, "tornado" Sean said his usual, "Look mommy! A tomato," in his very serious voice. All of a sudden I realized that Sean hadn't been saying "tomato" but that he had been saying "tornado." I also since realized that Sean wasn't just randomly pointing, but was pointing to the clouds. So any time he saw a wisp of a cloud he would be triggered into saying his "Tomato" phrases.
But I suppose it doesn't matter if it is a tomato or a tornado. Any time you see either of them coming towards you - you had better start running in the other direction as fast as you can.

Tomato or Tornado - what is the difference?

lol, I'll never look at Tomatos the same!
This is the reason I love toddlers! What a cute story.
I'd be scared of tomatoes too! Love that Sean.
Love it. It's such an a-ha moment when you finally realize what your poor toddler has been trying to tell you.
So cute! I love toddler stories!
