I am certainly not the queen of roller skating but I can get around without looking like a complete idiot (just a mediocre one). I used to go skating all the time when I was younger. It wasn't until Halle received the invitation to go skating that I realized none of my children has ever been roller skating before.
Even though she didn't know how to skate Halle still had fun. Especially when I walked around with her and pulled her along. Now she can't wait to go again. So now the pressure is on to have a family trip to the local roller skating rink.

Taking a break for a bite of Pizza. Halle, Haleigh (b-day girl), Katie, and Leighton.

Roller skating girls Leighton and Halle.

I am a horrible rollerskater but I have MANY fond memories of weekends spent at Springville Woods. Did you ever go rollerskating there? My other favorite place was out at Utah Lake. Classic in Orem wasn't as much fun as both of those places.
We haven't taken our kids rollerskating either. Reilly used to rollerblade around Ben Burr but some how we got out of the habit of that kind of thing. I would undoubtedly kill myself on rollerskates now!!
And...I LOVED Xanadu. We watched that movie at my 10th birthday sleepover. I had the record and used to belt those songs out on a regular basis. I need to put some of those on my Ipod. :)
I hope the "crap" in Sean's leg is feeling much better. That is hilarious.
I am NOT ashamed to admit that I own my very own copy of Xanadu. And an Olivia Newton John record. I'm a big fan. And I love rollerskating. Fun birthday party idea. Hope your guys are having fun with the Nan:)
